"Pen and Pencil drawings of Old Bradford " not only contains lots of drawings (see list of illustrations below) but gives a history of the town too, along with many references to people and families. There is no index in this book, however the list of contents is given below.

Historical notes on Bradford Corporation, by the well known historian William Cudworth, contains a detailed history of Bradford under the Commissioners and under the Corporation. Included are such things as the 1805 rate book (lots of names), lists of Aldermen and photobgraphs of the Mayors (in the book, these are real photographs, stuck onto the pages, over 25 in all).
