Each of these 31 books contain lists of names and addresses of all of those eligible to vote for the years 1853 to 1886 in the parliamentary elections in the borough/city of Bradford. The books vary in size due to the various reform acts (1867 for instance). The books to 1867 give the names in alphabetical order, after that the names are given in alphabetical street order.
