Eldwick
| Eldwick is a lovely village not far from Bingley, West Yorkshire. Surrounded by open countryside, this is a very desirable place to live. There is a nice pub here called 'The Acorn.' Further up the road at High Eldwick is another pub - this is the famous 'Dick Hudson's.' Originally known as 'The Fleece,' it gets its name from a long gone landlord. It is here where generations of Yorkshire folk have stopped for refreshments whilst walking from Shipley Glen to Ilkley via Rombald's Moor. |

Close by is the nostalgic Shipley Glen Tramway, built in 1895, a funicular cabled hauled railway where open topped carriages ascend and descend a pretty bluebell wood. Just down the road from Eldwick is the smart Village of East Morton. Here you will find St. Luke's Church and the local watering hole 'The Busfield Arms.'
