"Ingleton: Bygone and Present" was published around 1888 (there is no date given in the book), and contains well over 350 pages. The book describes the scenery, the history, the natural history, records, manorial rights etc. of Ingleton and the surrounding villages and area. There are descriptions of the main caves and potholes with varying length histories of some of the main families of the area.
