The "History of Bolton in Bradford-Dale" is a collection of chapters by various authors covering the Manor, the church, Methodism etc., also covering Eccleshill, Undercliffe and a chapter on Idle. There are over 30 illustrations.

"Nonconformity in Idle" has lots of names and contains "The History of Airedale College" with lists of students, tutors and officers etc.
